The Anglican tradition rests on this: We are not alone. No single person, no single diocese, stands alone. We worship with a worldwide congregation even though we are apart geographically.
We see this global joining every week when we share the liturgy, and we see a portion of it once a year when we gather for our Diocesan Synod. At the Synod, Anglican Christians from many western U.S. states gather in one place geographically and take the time to meet face to face. We join in fellowship, worship, training, and decision making.
Synod is open to everyone in the churches of our diocese, laity and clergy alike, with plenty of chances to learn skills for being an every day missionary.
Synod usually runs from late afternoon on Friday through mid-afternoon on Saturday.
