Immanuel Community
The IMMANUEL APPROACH to life and to prayer involves connecting personally and interactively with the Lord and removing barriers and hindrances to an intimate, interactive lifestyle of connection with Him. The goal is to build and deepen a securely attached relationship with the Lord, one that increases capacity to stay connected to Him, even in difficult life situations or painful experiences.

Receive Immanuel Prayer Ministry
Immanuel Prayer Ministry involves facilitated prayer ministry sessions using the Immanuel Approach to encounter and interact with Immanuel (God Who is With Us). As we connect with God and experience his presence, he often brings healing, truth, and guidance, which mature us more fully in Christlikeness.
Sessions usually last 90 minutes, including welcome, introduction, ministry time, and review of the session afterwards. Ministry is free, but a donation to St. Luke’s is encouraged.
We are happy to offer single sessions, but we recommend setting up a series of 3 sessions. This is because it usually takes a time or two of receiving ministry to become familiar with the process and begin to receive more fully all that God may be offering.
Prayer Ministers are thoroughly trained with many practice hours and feedback. They are trauma-informed and serving under pastoral supervision.
