Location: Desidero Park, Pasadena, near the Colorado Street Bridge
We will meet at the park, hike into the Arroyo Seco and see the bridges from underneath alongside the stream.
We will then backtrack and see some of the features of the streamside from alongside the wash, including engineered riparian areas, the archery range, and the casting pond.
We will then return from the casting pond to the parking area on the ridge of the Arroyo along the roadside trail.
The complete hike will be about three miles. There is one short, steep grade under the bridge and two long, gradual grades getting down and then back out of the arroyo.
